KTM GT2 Evolution Kit
Built, integrated, and deployed with Sigier Motorsport. Two years of development. Five thousand kilometers on track.
The brief
01Take a modern GT2 car and evolve it. Over a program spanning more than two years, Formation Engineering built, integrated, and deployed a complete evolution kit for the KTM GT2 in partnership with Sigier Motorsport. The scope was the whole car as a system: driveline, boost, engine management, wiring, and the calibration that makes them work as one.
The work
02Air-actuated gearbox conversion
The car was converted to an air-actuated gearbox, engineered and integrated by Formation: actuation hardware, control, and the shift strategy tied into the engine management.
Modernized turbocharger
A new, modernized turbocharger was specified and integrated to support outputs up to 800 horsepower, with the thermal and boost-control work to run it reliably.
MoTeC engine management & calibration
A new MoTeC ECU calibration was built out from a proven base and developed in-house through boost, shift, and drivability strategies.
Wiring & electronics
The program carries our electrical work end to end: harness construction and the electronics calibration that ties every subsystem together.
Dyno & on-track development
The kit was developed on the dyno and refined on track, the way we validate everything. The car has since completed more than 5,000 successful on-track kilometers.
